Jane and Ina Safari trip to the South.

Hi everyone,

I would like to share with you our Safari trip with Jane and Ina to the South of Tanzania for 2 nights and 3 days. We started our day by visiting the city of Morogoro and then on the journey to the small town of Mikumi,7 hours driving from Dar es salaam with some stops on the way for snacks, Washrooms etc. Just after arriving the next day we entered the Mikumi National Park for a full day,

We had a chance to spot so many animals including Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Giraffe, Antelope, Zebras, Hippos, Crocs and many more. It was a remarkable day to our friend Ina as she had her first Safari experience.

The other day We visited the village of the Masai and get to experience their culture, how they lived as a family, how they could build their homes by trees, how they grow their economy through cattle, dressing style and how they acquire education like other people. Our visitors Jane and Ina enjoyed their stay at Safari very much. Mikumi's small town is natural and close to the Mikumi park. People are involved in tourism, small businesses, agriculture and handicrafts. We were happy to buy pancakes for breakfast from Mama Kotindi street shop. Cakes were sweet-smelling.

Mikumi Park It is one of the closest to the city of Dar es Salaam, the road is good and travel from Bohobe Travels is always luxury.
The weather at Mikumi town by this time is not hot and not cold, I can say it partly cloud and it is so good to be around by this time.Among the things you can do on your way to the Southern circuit of Tanzania includes

1. Hiking to Mount Ulugurus
2. Hiking to Udzungwa Waterfalls
3. Safari trip to Selous game reserve
4. Safari trip to Ruaha National Park
